ON AFFORDABLE HOUSING CONSULTING
In
2007 Larry Pusateri and Lighten-Gale Group entered into a consulting
partnership, to help both financial consulting firms better serve
their clients. Both companies are excited about the new services
and capacity they will be able to provide. This arrangement will
create new efficiencies and opportunities, as both companies’ knowledge
and experience will be available for all clients. |

| Benefits
for the Client - Clients will gain two advantages
from this partnership: |

Wider
Scope of Expertise. This new arrangement
gives each existing Pusateri and Lighten-Gale Group client access
to twice as much experience as was available before. Combining
Pusateri’s experience in IHDA financing with Lighten-Gale
Group’s experience financing projects in the City of Chicago
creates a partnership with a remarkably large reservoir of affordable
housing underwriting expertise. |

Increased
Capacity. By combining their staffing, Larry Pusateri
and Lighten-Gale Group will be better able to maintain the capacity
to handle new projects promptly, giving them full attention while
simultaneously serving existing clients. |

| Continuity – There
will not be any disruption for existing clients: |

The
two firms will keep their separate identities under the partnership.
Projects already in the pipeline will continue to be administered
by the same personnel. |

The
company principals, Larry Pusateri and Virginia Pace, will continue
to have oversight on all of their projects. They will exercise the
same quality control on their new projects as they have in the past.
Clients who signed up with one firm or the other prior to the partnership
will always have access to their principal should any concerns about
the project arise. |

the Partners |
| • |
Larry
Pusateri: Larry Pusateri has worked in
the field of affordable housing development since 1987. He
has served as housing development director of three Illinois
affordable housing agencies. In mid-1995, Mr. Pusateri became
a private housing development consultant resulting in the development
of over 1,000 affordable units. Mr. Pusateri currently
is President of Pusateri Development LLC, an affordable housing
consulting firm and Vice-President of Daveri Group, a minority
owned affordable housing development company. |

Lighten-Gale
Group: Lighten-Gale Group is a partnership between
Virginia Pace, who oversees consulting activities and Todd Wells,
who oversees software development.
Virginia
Pace has worked in the field of affordable housing since 1993.
She served as Single Family Home Administrator for a Nashville
non-profit before moving to Chicago to complete the Masters of
Urban Planning program at UIC. In 1995, Ms. Pace joined Holsten
Development and was their Vice President of Development when she
left in 1999. Ms. Pace currently is President of Lighten-Gale
Group.
Todd
Wells has worked in the field of database/ software development
since 1996. Mr. Wells started Mercury Data in 1998 to create customized
databases for financial service and event management companies.
In 2000, Mercury Data partnered (and later merged) with Lighten-Gale
Group to produce underwriting analysis software for affordable
housing projects. Mr. Wells oversees new software solutions for
Lighten-Gale Group and outside clients. |
