The development of the MLK Historic District in Chicago's Lawndale neighborhood was recently profiled in a Chicago Tribune article. Central to the revitalization of this historic district is the 45-unit rental project, MLK Apartments, to be developed by Lawndale Christian Development Corporation. Lighten-Gale Group will help secure the financing for this project, which will include a combination of Federal and State low-income housing tax credits, as well as TIF funds.
